DEC 3 – COMMUNITY CELEBRATION & FUNDRAISER
I am excited to share a new project that I’m working on with folks from my neighborhood called the Sunshine Food Project. We are raising support – both people power and dollar power – to build a trailer and bicycle-powered carts that will deliver organically-grown vegetables to people in North Park Hill and the surrounding area.
We have already received a Denver Foundation Strengthening Neighborhoods grant and are now trying to raise an additional $6300. This is a community project, open to anyone wanting to be involved – from the design and building of the vehicles, to deciding how and where we’ll get food and deliver it.
You can find out more about the Sunshine Food Project at http://www.sunshinefoodproject.org and more about our Veggie Mobile campaign at http://www.neighborhoodcatalyst.org/en/SunshineFoodProject.
