Denver Decides will conduct forums for the two (2) ballot initiatives and four (4) seats on the Denver Public School Board. Forums will be telecast live on Denver 8TV as scheduled below.

Ballot Initiatives:

Green Roofs Initiative

$937 Million Bond Package (voters will cast seven (7) yes or no votes for the bond package items. They are as follows.)

  1. $431 million for transportation and mobility projects, including road and bridge repairs and repaving, new bike lanes and pedestrian projects.

  2. $151.6 million for parks and recreational projects.

  3. $116.9 million for cultural facility projects, including at the Denver Zoo, the

Denver Botanic Gardens, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science and the

Denver Art Museum.

  1. $77 million for public-safety related projects, including for police and fire


  1. $75 million to cover about half of the cost of the Denver Health and Hospital

Authority’s planned outpatient Ambulatory Care Center.

  1. $69.3 million for library renovations, including at several branches across the city.

  2. $16.5 million for public facilities.

District 2 (SW Denver) — Angela Cobian and Sochi Xochitl Gaytan

District 3 (East Denver) — Mike Johnson and Carrie Arlene Olson

District 4 (NE Denver) — Aountai (Tay) Anderson, Jennifer Bacon and Rachelle Espiritu

At Large — Julie Banuelos, Barbara O’Brien and Robert Speth
