East Montclair Neighborhood Association

Tom Fesing and Larry Drees, of the East Montclair Neighborhood, are being recognized for their dedication and passion to creating a safer neighborhood.

In recent years areas of their neighborhood have had high reports of drug dealing/use, and prostitution.  Criminals have been known to “hide out” in area hotels and motels.

Tom and Larry have attended meetings with business/hotel/motel owners, and have given neighbors the knowledge needed to properly report and help reduce crime.  They have been working with neighbors and the DPD to make their neighborhood a safer place.

Tom has committed 10 to 20 hours a week to the concerns of the neighborhood and Larry has a passion for seeing the neighborhood become more crime-free.  These two dedicated citizens are truly deserving of the Bill Gross Memorial Award for their tireless efforts to make their neighborhood safer for everyone who lives there.
