The United Community Action Network of Metro Denver (UCAN Metro Denver) is a Registered Neighborhood Organization in Denver, a Colorado non-profit corporation, and an active, voting member of Inter-Neighborhood Cooperaton (Denver INC).

We have formed for the purpose of providing grass-roots access into all levels of city planning for residents and property owners of the northern infill neighborhoods of Denver. We aim to support neighborhood preservation while we work to improve the quality of life for those who call our neighborhoods “Home” now and will in the future.

Sincere people with different viewpoints and vested interests have to find a way to deeply study and openly discuss how to formulate and implement the future we all share. This is of immense urgency now, especially on behalf of the Elyria, Swansea, Globeville neighborhoods as we are impacted by I-70.

The UCAN Metro Denver Board of Directors is issuing the attached Statement (above) on I-70 in support of the best possible outcome for this project.
