Greg Sorensen has been the INC Treasurer since 2020 and was Budget Chair before that.  So, for many years it’s been Greg keeping the numbers in line. Greg also serves as the Chair of the INC Audit Committee and was a key drafter of the 2021 Amended and Restated Bylaws and the 2023 INC Operations Manual

With his very sharp pencil, Greg has provided valuable input well beyond the words he edited and the numbers he crunched.  His attention to detail has helped INC clarify its purpose and pave the way to a successful future. Greg is an INC Delegate from the Neighbors for Greater Capitol Hill, a neighborhood he has called home for much of his adult life.  Greg is mostly retired, meaning he still does a LOT of work, but just without pay.  We are grateful for the many hours of work Greg has given to INC and for his invaluable voice in the organization’s  governance.   Board work is rewarding for the benefits that one provides to the health of the organization it serves, but Greg’s presence on the Board has also created a shared sense of renewed purpose and a place for friendships to grow.  Greg’s dry wit and keen sense of humor are appreciated by all who know him.  And, for the many Delegates who attend the monthly meetings, you should know that it is often Greg that brings the yummy treats!  So we treasure our Treasurer, Greg Sorenson!  Please join us in congratulating Greg on this well-deserved President’s Award honor.
