Denver Zoo faces heat but pushes on with elephant poop-to-power plant — 4 Comments

  1. Mr. Larry Ambrose, as president of INC, do you think it is professional and approriate to cite that the Zoo would EVER endanger any animals, including your trivializations of the guinea pigs. Those little critters are as important as any other creature.

  2. Google waste to energy if you would like more facts. Europe, Minneapolis, Virginia have many installations. It is certainly a larger picture than a 6′ x 2′ installation in the Zoo, which cares for and protects 100’s of creatures. It is absurd to even think the Denver Zoo would endanger any of us or the beloved critters.

  3. INCinerator, do you have a furnace or a hot water heater or a gas grill – then incineration is in your closest proximity.

  4. There seems to be quite a bit of discussion, information, questions regarding not just the Zoo waste to power plans but also about sustainability efforts by our City Park partners, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Denver Parks & Rec, City of Denver and how 3 million plus visitors contribute. Rest assured… we are all looking out for the best of all creatures and if you have any concerns/questions or great ideas encourage you to contact any of these organizations.
