Dale Rudolph is a model RNO Board member, active as the Secretary for Cherry Creek North Neighborhood Association (“CCNNA”), head of the Block Builder’s program and active in numerous events and committees. But what qualifies Dale Rudolph as a neighborhood star is her ability to think big about giving back. CCNNA hosts an event each year called Sip and Savor, where CCNNA members gather on an early fall evening to taste wines and restaurant fare from the Cherry Creek area. But when Dale was chair of the Sip and Savor event committee, she took it in a different direction. She led her committee to change the entire focus of the event to giving back to our greater community. In doing so, she refocused the event for a purpose bigger than the Cherry Creek North neighborhood itself: raising funds for charities in need in the Denver area. Since making this change, the event has raised more than $69,000 for charities, including Urban Peak, Food-bank of the Rockies, Denver Library Friends and other local non-profits. Now one of the largest events of CCNNA, it’s focus on ‘Cherry Creek North Neighborhood Association Gives Back’ has created a force for good in all of Denver.
